The SNSA needs to be strengthened by increased membership support to deal with the ever increasing demand placed on neurosurgeons by stakeholders. These include government, funders and regulators. The society seeks to assist neurosurgeons with issues such as shortage of doctors, proposed National Health Insurance (NHI), income disparities, interaction with medical schemes and regulatory reforms, amongst others.
