In a Waverly World: September 2013
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 17, 2013. Iza ny anaranao chips? In official Malagasy is, loosely,"What is your name? Literally, it is "Who the your name? But that's neither here or there. What's funny about this particular phrase is how Waverly chooses to use it. She doesn't know much Malagasy except some basics that Chandler and I have taught her: greetings, please (and thank you and excuse me - all one word in official), and how to ask for someone's name. Oh, and "Avia! So, as a last "hurrah" as the Snyder family ...

On the Journey: Care Packages
http://steveandnickoleeroberts.blogspot.com/p/care-packages.html
Where Would You Like To Go? Several of you have asked about sending packages.who are we to say no? The most cost efficient way to send something is by using the flat rate boxes from your local post office. It is a little pricey so grab a friend, family member, or small group to go in with you! It takes 6-8 weeks for one to arrive, no matter what they may tell you at the post office. Also, we've learned that packing "strategically" goes a long way in ensuring the items make it to us! It's Going to Be Okay.

Mostly a blog devoted to life as a parent of the lovely 2 year old Emersen, with a hodge podge of real life, pictures, and what God is saying as well as rants and raves thrown in. Wednesday, February 13, 2013. Call this my Valentine's Day post. This lady can be so sweet (and spicy too) at times. Lately, she will just tell us she loves us, unprompted. We also have a game. I used to say "hey Em, guess what? And she would just look at me. I would then say "I love you! Or "you know what? What are you doing?

Thursday, January 31, 2013. Emmy watching it snow. What is it about snow? Despite the fact it was 70 degrees two days ago, I'm still camped out in front of the window with hot cinnamon orange tea mesmerized by the chaotically falling, swirling and blowing giant white flakes. Monday, January 28, 2013. It's hilarious, any kiddo w...

Thursday, March 29, 2012. This is Kentucky weather in a nutshell, right? She's a peeping Em. Then we had a baby snow shower before church one Sunday. I took Em out to take pictures because I was afraid it was going to be the only snow this year. After wipe out, courtesy of daddy. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Lent, Spring and Bunnies.

In a Waverly World: July 2012
http://thelittlesnyderfamily.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 3, 2012. No surprise here that I'm just now posting photos from almost a month ago. It was 9:30 am, 75 degrees, and Waverly wanted to swim. So swim she did. Happy, swimming girl! And singing to songs she doesn't even know. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Shout Out to Moms. Ask and I Will Make the Nations Your Heritage. It's been a while. A & K in Madagascar: Six Months In
http://redislandadventure.blogspot.com/2013/09/six-months-in.html
A and K in Madagascar. Sep 16, 2013. In just a week and a half (Sept. 26), we will have been here for six months. Sometimes, it feels like we haven't done much considering it's already been half of a year since we got to Madagascar. But as I think back over these last six months, I begin to realize how much we have done, and how much things have changed. November 13, 2013 at 2:56 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A & K in Madagascar: June 2013
http://redislandadventure.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
A and K in Madagascar. Jun 23, 2013. So the past couple of months have been a little bit of the same: church and rest on Sunday, language class Monday through Thursday, and whatever shenanigans we get ourselves into on the weekends. And by "shenanigans," I mean "everyday things like buying food and paying bills, because nothing is easy here." Don't get me wrong- it's not all bad. Just interesting. The church we attend, tucked away in the corner. The new church building they are working on.
