Tuesday, July 26, 2011. Ninja Soap Take 1. So, I've been busy doing other things around my house that I haven't been able to make any soap for a couple weeks now (it's been over a month since my last CP batch, oh no! My additives include titanium dioxide (I wanted this to be a pristine white) and bamboo extract with Bamboo Fresh FO from Nature's Garden. I wasn't partial to the scent OOB as I had a hard time being able to smell it, but in the soap it is smelling absolutely fantastic! All of the sides are ...

DelightfulU: Soap Scents- Pt. 1 The Good
http://delightfulu.blogspot.com/2011/08/soap-scents-pt-1-good.html
Tuesday, August 30, 2011. Soap Scents- Pt. 1 The Good. Hello again, everybody :). I guess you've already figured out that I was not selected by BrambleBerry to test out their new fall fragrance oils. That's alright, though, because I still get to read the test results of the soapers who were chosen! Just as much fun, and much less stress. Today I have decided to have some fun of my own and go back through a bunch of soaps that I made back in April to see how the scents have behaved! A fun and strong frag...

DelightfulU: Spa Tonic Chamomile Bastile Soap
http://delightfulu.blogspot.com/2011/08/spa-tonic-chamomile-bastile-soap.html
Friday, August 26, 2011. Spa Tonic Chamomile Bastile Soap. So, I made this soap a couple weeks ago. but ended up hating what the fragrance morphed into and how the swirls turned out. so, I thought it was not going to be worthy of a post. That is until I actually used it! I'm in love with this recipe! So, we'll start off with the recipe- it's called a bastile because it's mainly olive oil but has other oils introduced so it can't be called a castile soap (which is 100% olive oil). Castile with Coconut Milk.

Ooh, this shower scrub smells so awesome, makes your skin feel awesomer, and awesomest of all is that the ingredients can be found in your house! I love love love the way this smells of chocolate and coffee (two of my favorite things! 1 tsp olive oil. 1 TBS brown sugar (white sugar can also be used here). 1/4 tsp coffee grounds (I used a hazelnut coffee for this! So, whe...

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Mmm Iced Green Tea. So, today I was inspired by a post I found over at SoapQueen.com for a Chai Latte Soap. Those little cups o' tea were so cute and while they used CP over there, I used a little bit of my remaining M&P soap to create a different version. It looks so nice, cool, and refreshing don't you think? Made with BB Clear Base with some Sunflower oil added to it (I find the Clear base needing extra moisturizing power) and just a little bit of Green Tea Extract (yay! I did...

Friday, October 28, 2011. First Rebatch- Lavender Spoon Swirl. So, it seems as though the soap gremlins have hit my house for the first time. Maybe it's because I got their attention by starting to post videos? So, yesterday morning, the soap was hard enough to unmold but not yet hard enough to cut, so I let it sit until the evening, when I tried to cut the first piece off. nope, still too soft to cut. So, I let it sit for a couple hours more. You can see that the soap was incredibly soft and gooey in th...
