July 4, 2008. Posted by Jennie under Family. The 4th of July is a big holiday for the Seils family. They all go in together and buy a bunch of fireworks and put on quite the display. My kids were so excited because they had never gotten to really help with fireworks before. December 3, 2008. First Snow of the Season. Posted by Jennie under Family. December 2, 2008. Posted by Jennie under Family. I have been bugging Tom to put up the Christmas tree for a few weeks now. He doesn’t think any Christmas decorations should go up until after Thanksgiving. I was raised that you start putting up Christmas in October! So, he finally gave in and we put up the tree the Sunday before Thanksgiving. I wanted the house to look pretty for our Thanksgiving company! The house looks beautiful!

June 27, 2008. Posted by Jennie under Family. As most of you know, the Harvey family made a very big move this summer. On June27, we set out for Metamora, Illinois. The kids did great in the car even though it is an 11 hour trip. We thought that it would only be a few days without our furniture, but it turned out to be almost 2 weeks! So, Halloween was pretty crazy this year. 5 kids coming home from school all hyped up on sugar and excited to trick-or-treat was interesting to say the least. Not to mention that Tom had been out of town all week, and they were excited to see him too! But they all had a great time, and we have candy coming out our ears.
