Government: Obamacare???
http://rachelpowers.blogspot.com/2009/04/obamacare.html
Friday, April 10, 2009. Dr Price, a well informed health care analyst as well as former surgeon, is an optimist to Obama’s new healthcare plan. He does not believe it is beneficial to our specific wants and needs compared to the wants and needs as a whole(the United States). I think the article should have distributed more information in detail of President Obamas healthcare plan, so we could better critique his idea compared to Dr. Prices’. If I had to choose a side I would go with Dr....I would have to...

Government: My Background with the Government
http://rachelpowers.blogspot.com/2009/01/my-background-with-government.html
Friday, January 30, 2009. My Background with the Government. After completing the political ideology I'm considered a "Disadvantaged Democrat". I don't completely agree with that. Democrat, yeah ok. but I'm not "poor" as it was insinuating. I just want what's best for those who are less fortunate and I'm obviously totally against war. So I believe the questions they asked led to a false analysis on who I am. Friday, January 30, 2009. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Dose of Political Apathy.

Governmental ponderings: We all need it.

Austin, Texas, United States. I am taking this class to get myself more involved with all that is going on around me. I really have no strong view about politics yet, because I have not been keeping informed. I hope to change that. I have been rated as a conservative Democrat. View my complete profile. Wednesday, February 11, 2009. We all need it. As I was reading through many articles in preparation of this blog. I thought to myself, how do I feel right now about Obama? The Wilde Report: April 2009
http://thewildereport.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 24, 2009. For the most part, I disagree with what Anjana says in her post. Anjana makes a good point about the current economy, though. A group of potentially millions of new citizens, qualified for government assistance, is the last thing our government (already heavily in debt) needs right now. The immigration system must not come before more urgent priorities such as the economy, and should wait until the country is more stable. Thursday, April 9, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Wilde Report: Health Insurance Tax?
http://thewildereport.blogspot.com/2009/05/health-insurance-tax.html
Friday, May 8, 2009. Proponents of the idea argue that it would be an important source of the revenue necessary to pay for health care reform. One Congressional estimate puts the revenue that could come from the tax at $100 billion over five years, according to an article in the New York Times. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
