I'm on Day 2 of my first period after the Lap and all I can say is that this one's a killer! I distinctly remember the doctor saying that one of the benefits of a Lap is that your periods should be less painful and lighter. Not so . this one is VERY painful and heavy. I did a quick search online and apparently this is very common and it does get better (it would want to).

I read on a naturopathic forum on fertility that to help regulate your hormones if you ovulate late than you should start taking Vitex from Cycle Day 14 onwards (until either your period starts or you are confirmed pregnant) even if you haven't ovulated yet. So I stopped taking the pregnancy drops yesterday and started taking the Vitex. I'm taking one capsule three times a day with meals. January 25, 2008 at 10:11 PM.

This morning I pee'd on a stick and lo and behold 2 lines appeared. In a good way). But after over 2 years of trying to fall pregnant you hardly believe these things with your own eyes. 2 Lines! Diary of a fertility challenged woman trying to conceive. Monday, October 26, 2009. I haven't written much here lately because I've been feeling a bit queasy - yes good ol' morning sickness! Not that I'm really complaining, after 2 1/2 years of trying to fall pregnant you can't really complain when you actually are! Yes it's finally sunk in that it's real - especially since I've seen the ultrasounds to prove it. I'm already 15 weeks pregnant (that went really fast) so only about 25 more weeks to go.
