Tuesday, April 14, 2009. What if there was a store that was having a sale, and an item is priced at 3.00 and was 40 percent off? It would cost 1.80. And then if there was anther sale, and an item is priced at 3.00 and was 60 percent off, it would cost 1.20. The moral of the story is to look at the prices on the items before you pay your money. And if there are price changes you weren’t expecting, ask about them. Before you pay your money. Posted by Jeri at 11:17 AM. Monday, April 21, 2008. Place marker t...

soapquiltknit: January 2007

http://soapquiltknit.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 31, 2007. We have more Koigu sock:. I need to get the heel knitted in before I do lots of ribbing so there's plenty of yarn. I'm about to the point on this sock where she will come off the circ and wait on dpns for her little sock buddy. The rpm socks are done, kitchenered and all, and have been worn to work and to knit night and are in the laundry. Pics to come maybe next week. Ps I am upgraded to the new blogger. Didn't seem to have much choice. Posted by Jeri at 7:18 PM. There will ...

soapquiltknit: Christmas knitting

http://soapquiltknit.blogspot.com/2007/12/christmas-knitting.html

Thursday, December 13, 2007. I seamed Irish Moss like a mad-knitter last weekend. The life-line/chart markers really helped with the side seams and sleeve seams. The saddle seams were contrary as I was seaming an end of the shoulder to a side of the saddle. I ended up quartering each section and easing each to match. It was slow work but fitted together. At knit night on Tuesday, I pulled out lots and lots of markers and life-lines. About a coffee cup full. Posted by Jeri at 9:46 PM.

soapquiltknit: Irish Moss is done!!

http://soapquiltknit.blogspot.com/2007/12/irish-moss-is-done_16.html

Sunday, December 16, 2007. Irish Moss is done! Friday was our office Christmas party then we went to a graduation party for a good friend. There was minor imbibing so there was no serious knitting. On Saturday, December 15, I bound off the neck and woven in the last ends. And today, the maple man wore it to church. Without further ado, I present Irish Moss:. I wanted to take a picture on him but forgot to do it before he changed. A modeled picture will come later. Just for the record,.

soapquiltknit: February 2007

http://soapquiltknit.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Closing in on the end of February. A couple of last minute completions, I was about to say, but one is a completion and one is a frog. And the Cat Bordhi smile socks are de nada. Gone to the frog pond. Witnesseth:. Closeups later. This post is pretty graphic heavy. And there is more. More new yarn that is. Grace shared her purple cth ebay buy from a few months ago. I think it may be "solid" for purposes of sock madness:. Posted by Jeri at 8:42 PM. Monday, February 26, 2007.

soapquiltknit: it fits

http://soapquiltknit.blogspot.com/2007/12/it-fits.html

Sunday, December 23, 2007. We did Christmas today with my family and I tried mom's sweater on her, complete with dangling needles and yarn ends and balls of yarn here and there. On the way up there, I decided I needed to do some sock knitting. I was feeling uncertain about the sweater fit and there is sooo much of it now. There will not be seaming later, but the other side of that coin is that there is a lot of sweater and it's complicated to turn and knit back on a row. Posted by Jeri at 9:11 PM.

Yarning for the Fun of It: February 2010

http://txknitter.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Sunday, February 07, 2010. I did a little training this morning for my Ravelympics event. I balled my skein of Wollmeise Spice Market. What a lovely, lovely skein of yarn. I cannot wait to knit with it. I'm going to knit Saroyan. A lovely slim scarf with leaf edging. But there is plenty of stockinette to show the spice market to it's best advantage. Saroyan is entered in the following events:. Single Skein Speed Skate. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Jill's Fri...

Yarning for the Fun of It: Two Finished Christmas Scarves

http://txknitter.blogspot.com/2009/10/two-finished-christmas-scarves.html

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Saturday, October 24, 2009. Two Finished Christmas Scarves. This is Lauren's Checkerboard Scarf knit from Mountain Colors Bearfoot. This a free pattern that is super fun to knit. The scarf finished at 9 x 65 with only 350yds of yarn. I selected the open pattern hoping it would stretch the yardage. I think it worked. I also selected an open pattern because of the mohair content and the fact we live in TX. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Kim's Mom's Peace...

Yarning for the Fun of It: Baby Bonnet

http://txknitter.blogspot.com/2009/06/baby-bonnet.html

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Thursday, June 04, 2009. I tend to think of myself as a monogamous knitter, but I do like the benefit of having a couple of projects going at one time - one benefit is finishing two projects in a weekend. I finished the blue baby hat early on Sunday and then Sunday evening or maybe it was Monday evening, I picked up the pink bonnet and put the finishing touches on it. I'm pleased with how it turned out. It's probably too big for a newborn. Testknit Stina - ...

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. So many patterns. So little time. Saturday, May 01, 2010. What Does It Mean To Look 40-ish? Last weekend, I spent Saturday night acting in a UNT film student's film project. I was the mother to a time traveler. It was an interesting story. I learned alot about film making and I would love the chance to do it again. Being 40 means a few more grays to cover up during the hair coloring session. Or worse, the local high school now has '80...

Yarning for the Fun of It: January 2013

http://txknitter.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Wednesday, January 09, 2013. The Year of the Craft Destash. Each year I declare my knitting goal. This year I decided why limit the goal to knitting? Over Christmas I cleaned our craft/computer room and found 3 bins of fabric, I have a stash of beads, cross-stitch projects from 15 years ago and I recently took up chain maille. During the cleaning, I discovered, my crafting supplies abound. Time to start planning projects. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Robyn's...

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Saturday, July 23, 2011. The Shabby Sheep Knitting retreat is coming up in August. Two whole days of knitting. No cooking or cleaning. Just relaxing fun with friends. I need a list of the projects I want to work. What am I going to pack? What yarn do I want to take? First my list of themes or titles for the weekend:. Not just stash reduction, but reduction of the little leftover pieces. Lots of hats or scrappy scarves. Too fun. Cute Christmas Cap Retreat.

http://txknitter.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html

Yarning for the Fun of It. It's an inside joke. Sunday, August 08, 2010. I recently flipped through the Fall 2010 Knitscene magazine and was pleasantly surprised to see how many of the projects I wanted to knit. I like this issue because there are so many projects that could use my stash yarn. Here's a list of projects and the stash yarn associated with them. Knit my Joseph Galler Alpaca. 1 in my queue. Bryophyta Cowl and Mitts. Knit in 4 colors of Louet Gems. I also have a charcoal grey. Pay It Forward ...

Cap-sleeved top was recently published in the Spring. Issue of Twist Collective. Perfect for summer knitting, its worked in the round from the top down, in a DK weight warm-weather-friendly cotton/microfiber yarn ( Valley Yarns Longmeadow. I modified the Pagoda lace pattern from Barbara Walkers Third Treasury to create the large lace panel that adorns the upper front and back. The main reason the top is not knitted from the bottom up is that I liked the look of the lace better when it is upside down!

Soap Queen | Bienvenue dans ma vie trépidante

Bienvenue dans ma vie trépidante. Bull;26 octobre 2010 • 2 commentaires. Today I read an article. Where the guy said he might have found a time-traveller in a 1928 movie because that person appeared to be holding a cellphone, which obviously didn’t exist at that time. Of course I don’t think it’s actually a time-traveller, but then it really got me thinking about time-travelling. To be possible, then time-travellers should have visited the past, meaning that they should have visited. I’ve often fel...
