Saturday, May 30, 2009. Europe Day 15 - Sorrento, Italy. Saturday, 23 August, 2008. From Pompeii, we set off towards Sorrento for our beach-front hotel. You know they're deprived of beaches when you see them playing on these rocks. fun meh? You see mount vesuvius EVERYWHERE. After a lot of wrong turns we managed to find our hotel. Mar Alimuri. Friday, February 27, 2009. Old quarters, hanoi. Currently at my friend's hotel in hanoi. This is the room's floor tile.Damn retro :). Monday, February 23, 2009. Did you know that the polyclinic is damn cheap? I just went to see a doctor. The consultation fees were $8.80, ($4.50 for kids/elderly! And some ointment lots of panadol cost me $2.80. I only had to pay $11.60. In all. I'm sure this could have cost me $40 easily at a GP, and probably $80 at an A&E. I waited about 10 minutes. Europe Day 11 - Pisa.

Friday, November 27, 2009. Cambodia Day 1 - Phnom Penh. Wednesday, 14 October, 2009. I love budget airlines for their crazy fares! This time, we found a $74 Phnom Penh flight from Jetstar, and this even spreads over the Deepavali holiday! The experience, is way different from the budget terminal. The best time to visit Phnom Penh is in November to January. The rainy season is from May to Oct. Thursday, August 06, 2009. Run Your Own Race. After last year's 10km run in December, I totally nua-ed and gained back my 2-4kg. So for pb's health, and my ability to fit into my clothes, we signed up for this year's run. Did I mention that it's also lots of fun? Here are my training results. This is what pigging out and not running for half a year does to you. Very crappy timings! I totally can't keep up with my colleagues! Doesn't help that I had ankle problems. Watch out for Race IDs 24425 and 43457!
