Dealing with Adversity and Abuse. Sunday, April 8, 2007. 19 Baha / Splendor 164 BE. Why are thoughts on these two subjects being shared in cyberspace in one blog? Living and working from a wheelchair (and since 1998 mainly from my bed) brought challenges that forced me to investigate what tests and trials are all about and so, after 49 years in this physical garment, adversity is a very familiar concept to me. Growing up in South Africa has brought me face to face with the reality and horror of abuse.
