The Rest is Still Unwritten...: December 2008

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Dreading an event tends to lead to it coming around much faster. I grudgingly got ready for that night's game against the Flyers, not only for obvious reasons, but because I also hated the Flyers with a passion. Kay fluttered around excitedly, unable to decide what to wear. Are we supposed to dress up or.what? She asked, after trying on her fourth different outfit. I thought you didn't care about this stuff? So, the other girls are nice, right? Jay, you're here! The usual rou...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Sid asked me, looking adorably perplexed. I love you in a sweater," I replied, pointing to my favorite of his sweaters. Sweater it is," he replied with a grin. I grinned right back, turning my attention back to the task at hand- not looking like a snowball in my white Christmas dress. "You look amazing," he said, coming up behind me to wrap his arms around my snowball of a waist. So, nothing like a snowball? I asked, biting my lip. Compare me to a snow globe! Might damage the...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. You look really cute," Kay was saying to me, as we drove over to the beginning of the parade route. We were all heading over there together, and Kay and I decided to head over to the parade starting point together, away from everyone else and catch up along the way. So do you, fattie," I replied, taking a sip of ice cold water. I filled her in on my conversations with Catherine and Trina, waiting for the obvious question. That's a whole other story," I sighed. We arrived at o...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Needless to say, he. Avec plaisir, Sidney," Jacqueline said, shaking his hand. "It's so nice to finally meet you.". She asked, shly. Sara," I replied with a smile, "and I know you're Annie." She nodded. "How old are you? She held out four fingers. "Wow," I said, "and your english is great.". We learn in school," she said, stepping closer. I learned some french in school," I said. She asked. "Yes, really! No no," he said, shaking his head. So, how was that stir fry? You ate st...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. No," he replied simply. "You can't mean that.". I do," I responded. Look me in the eye, and tell me you don't love me," he said, his eyes wide. I do love you," I said, "more than you will ever understand. But I can't forgive you, and I can't be with you.". Kiss me," he said. Kiss me," he replied simply. "If you can kiss me, and then look me in the eye and tell me it's over- then you have every right to do so.". Sid," I sighed, "I'm not in the mood for this stuff.". Vero must'...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Get up," I said, poking his chest. "Get up.". He grinned, resting his arm behind his head. No," I said. "But you need to get up." I wasn't kidding, and he knew it. Well, you haven't ripped my head off with your bare hands, so it can't be serious, but what's going on? He asked, sitting up in bed. Nothing," I replied simply. "I was just wondering what you had planned today.". WellI have practice at 1," he replied, rubbing his eyes. "Why? So, no plans for lunch or anything?

The Rest is Still Unwritten. I can't watch stressful games with a lot of people, I'd rather just be on my own.or with you, tops," I told her. Oh come on," she said, "this is Sid's big moment! You want to be able to pop some champagne afterward, don't you? Maybe," I replied, "but I don't want to be sharing it with. Fine," she sighed, "I guess it's just you and me, kid.". If you really want to throw a party, go for it," I told her, "just not with me in mind.". Did that just.really happen? Jane, he won it!

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Busy with my own affairs to be able to think about anything else. Are you sure she'll be surprised? Max asked anxiously, as he spread a lace table cloth, overing the table intended for all of the baby gifts. Shocked," I replied, surveying his work. "Move it down a little. I know my best friend, and she's pretty much convinced this isn't happening.". Well, she hasn't said about a shower at all," Max agreed, shifting the lace to even it out. Consider it done," I replied. Ah, th...

The Rest is Still Unwritten. Uh," I couldn't figure out how to say it, "I'm not going to sleep in here." He froze, letting go of the bags and standing straight, and rigid. Yes you will," he replied. "I'll sleep in one of the guest rooms.". No," I said, "this is your room." And it smells of you, I said to myself. Being in that room was equivalent to being embraced by him, his scent lingering in the air. Room" he replied shaking his head. "There's no way I'll let you sleep anywhere else.". It would be the ...

The Rest is Still Unwritten...: A note!
http://therestisstillun-written.blogspot.com/2011/06/note.html
The Rest is Still Unwritten. In an inspired fit I've already started writing a continuation, and I really want to commit to making sure that I write regularly. I know how much it bothers me to read unfinished stories, and I don't want this to be one of them. I'm not sure whether to continue posting chapters on this blog, or to post them on a separately titled blog. Thoughts, comments, suggestions are completely welcomed. Here's to a creative summer, and again, thank you for reading. 6/9/11, 8:42 AM.
