Founded East London Federation of Suffragettes (with others) - composed of working class women, campaigned for women's suffrage and for social change in the period 1912-1920. Owned and edited weekly paper The Women’s Dreadnought (later, The Worker’s Dreadnought). Continued campaigning for the vote during WW1. Published The New Times and Ethiopia News, from 1936. Remember The Lusitania, the World's Most Popular Steam Ship, Torpedoed and Sunk by German Submarine on Friday, May 7th, 1915, Eight miles from the Old Head of Kinsale, Ireland, and 160 miles off Fishguard.
