Dear Family: a life surrendered
http://ohdears.blogspot.com/2010/12/life-surrendered.html
May the Favor of the Lord our God rest upon us and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17. Wednesday, December 8, 2010. But really, why would I want to be first or most important? The times in life, particularly recently when I have felt fully led by Jesus and dead to myself are the times when I've actually felt most alive. Isn't that just it, what seems backwards and awkward to us is actually the right way in the Lord's eyes? Posted by lavender syrup.

May the Favor of the Lord our God rest upon us and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17. Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Tal said "I want you, mom" and needed me in a way that he hasn't in awhile. He was cold,. Getting out of the bath, wet, tired, and cold. I wrapped around an extra towel, pulled him close,. And he gifted me with sweet smiles and then. Looking each other in the eyes,. I helped him with his jammies,. Brushed his teeth, and tucked him in.

May the Favor of the Lord our God rest upon us and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17. Tuesday, February 17, 2009. So we took a chance to get away last weekend and ended up resting during the rainy, rainy days. Brian has been promising Tallinn during these few weeks of off and on rain to take him in the puddles to splash. Unfortunately, the puddles usually dry up before they get a chance to go. Dear Family: Needy Me

May the Favor of the Lord our God rest upon us and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands Psalm 90:17. Tuesday, October 5, 2010. I was sharing with God a need I have this morning, something simple, but there nonetheless and I realized how many needs I have asked God for help with lately. He is amazing and he wants us to come to him with our needs, whatever they are. When other people don't want to hear or take time to listen, he is there. Posted by lavender syrup.

The Chapman Family: April 2011
http://rebeccakchapman.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 14, 2011. Samantha is 3 years old! Some of the things she's into at this age are princesses, Hello Kitty, clothes and shoes (sometimes changing outfits 3-4 times a day), doing whatever her big brother is doing, and doing everything herself (even though she gets frustrated very easily and starts crying and whining almost instantly). Oh, some say it's really "Terrible Threes. She even got to have a birthday cupcake with her breakfast! Thanks CC and Grandpa! Luckily Nicholas' birthday is at ...

Sunday, September 12, 2010. She could seriously do some damage to Nicholas and Samantha so she's been hanging out outside a lot.sad! One more picture for fun. We finally got a few tomatoes late in the season due to the very cool summer we had. This one was so strange I had to take a picture of it. Chris was horrified by it, and actually said he wouldn't eat it.but he didn't even notice it once it was in the food (and still doesn't know he ate it. Ha ha! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sunday, September 9, 2012. Okay, so I guess I have a lot of catching up to do.it has been almost a year since I've updated this blog! Here are a few highlights since last October. For Halloween, Nick was Yoda and Samantha was a butterfly. Nicholas got to try out Tae Kwon Do and made it to orange belt before we took a break for baseball. In April, we went on our annual spring trip to the desert to spend some quality time with CC and Grandpa, and the cousins. Last week Nicholas officially became a first gr...
