One For All or All For One | Christine's Social Babble
https://socialbabble.wordpress.com/one-for-all-or-all-for-one
Christine’s Social Babble. One For All or All For One. We are all in groups somehow or another. Being in a group of friends, being in a working committee, etc. We are all social beings and cannot escape the fact that we need people around us. However sometimes being in a group has its side-effects. One Response to “One For All or All For One”. Said this on May 13, 2008 at 12:10 am. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. People of Different Races | Christine's Social Babble

Christine’s Social Babble. People of Different Races. At times, when I am on the train and an Indian lady dressed in her traditional costume walked in, I will have this tendency to cover my nose. The first thought that comes to mind is that they smell. Most probably it is due to the flowers that they wear on their hair or the oil that they apply and I generalize this to all Indian ladies wearing traditional costume. The roti prata that the indian uncle makes every morning. *yum yum*. 4 Responses to ̶...
The Shopping Impulse | Christine's Social Babble
https://socialbabble.wordpress.com/the-shopping-impulse
Christine’s Social Babble. All of us shop, don’t we… Ladies shop for clothes and shoes, men shop for IT gadgets. It is just that our shopping list is different from each other. And when the cost of our shopping list is way too high, we always ponder if we should or should not make the purchase. I BROUGHT THE WATCH! This is my S$250 watch. 3 Responses to “The Shopping Impulse”. What can i say my dear friend? Besides my theory…. 8220;friends help friends spend money, share calories and make them look good!

Well, it did happen to me. quite a few times. there's one particular shopping centre that i would dread to go to. most of the time when i shop there, i have public asking me if i know where a particular shop is. its like as if i have a signboard on my head that says "WALKING INFORMATION COUNTER". Sunday, March 16, 2008. Ask any person how to describe an item, let's say - apple. Common responses you would get. That would, of course, be an easy example. cos from there, we can rephrase these responses by saying that anything that is a fruit, red in colour, sweet taste and crunchy when bite - is an apple. But does it true all the time? Let say, describe a pregnant person:. Woman (of course, so far i have not heard of men being pregnant). But cant blame those commenters, can we? Posted by Mummy Sid.

Sunday, March 23, 2008. To think that i will learn something by sitting in a hospital ward. i was accompanying my mum at the hospital, few days back. so while waiting for the doctor(consultant) to check on my mum and give his 'piece of mind', i happened to overhear(i was not eavesdropping, they were just talking so loud) this conversation that got me thinking - and it goes something like this. Who does she think she is? And i have to search for it myself. all these never happen when i was a nurse'. Based...

social psychology: conformity seen in students securing a place in local university
http://ling-socialpsychology.blogspot.com/2008/03/conformity-seen-in-students-securing.html
Monday, March 17, 2008. Conformity seen in students securing a place in local university. Therefore, despite having straight As for their A-level, junior college (JC) students attempting to get into a specialized field such as the medical field are increasing their CVs with volunteer work, competitive sports and co-curricular achievements (CCA). Good point. it appears that the real driving force behind increased competition is this: we're simply driving each other on. March 28, 2008 at 3:03 AM.

Monday, April 07, 2008. Before i started to step into the working world, i used to tell people how lucky i was to be in this multi-racial country. and they keep telling me how oblivious i was to the real world. ever since i had my first view of the working world, i am no longer sure if it was a blessing or a curse to be multi-lingual in this multi-racial society. Social Baank | This is not an ordinary bank
This is not an ordinary bank. I set up a bank! It happened to coincide with the start of the new Mayan calendar, but that’s just a happy co-incidence. Social Baank does pretty much the opposite of other banks. And it’s not for profit. The aim of Social Baank is to help people with good ideas to realise them. Customers can borrow money. But unlike any other bank, in Social Baank the customer decides what interest to pay and, the customer decides when they will repay the loan. Find Out About Our Parent.
