Chez Maddy: September 2009
http://ladymaddy.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
I love to knit! And play with my two cats. And wear pretty medieval clothes while I hang out with my friends in the SCA. I have a history degree, which is why I work in the financial dept of Medicare. I suffer from allergic fungal sinusitis and mourn the loss of my sense of smell. My perfect morning? Cool temps and a cup of coffee at my elbow while I knit and savor the prospect of having nowhere that I HAVE to be. Monday, September 14, 2009. Color A: Metallic gold crochet cotton size 10. Change to Color B.

OzKnitter: July 2006
http://ozknitter.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
I'm a knitter and I'm an Aussie. I love to knit socks. I recently took part in Mag Swap which was organised by Cotton Strudel. I swapped with the wonderful Patricia. Who lives in Brazil. She sent me a postcard from her city and a couple of Brazilian knitting magazines for babies. (click for larger images). I've already found some items I'd like to knit. I love this hat and socks/booties. I know I don't usually knit lace, but I could make an exception in this case as I'm sure they make a wonderful gift.

Mystery Sock KAL: July 2006
http://mysterysock.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 20, 2006. Welcome to the Mystery Sock KAL! Don't we all love to find free patterns on the Internet? How many of those do you pass over because they don't have a picture of the finished product? I skip them all. Yup, I won't even give a second glance to something without a photo. Call it snobbery. Call it indecisiveness. Heck, it's downright fear of the unknown. BUT while on said topic tonight at knitting guild, I remembered stumbling across the Magical Mystery Sock Tour on the Socknitters.

Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY: November 2014

Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY. Knitting for the needy. Your greatness is not what you have, it's what you give. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. Remember my project that had me stumped at counting to 3? Well, I finally finished it! My Barber Pole Cowl. Another VERY quick knit is the Reversible Boot Cuffs. Tutorial for knitting two at a time, toe up, on magic loop. I swear knitting socks this way goes much faster than one at a time, which doesn't really make sense. You would th...Calle...

Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY: January 2015
http://chickswithsticksofglenmontny.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY. Knitting for the needy. Your greatness is not what you have, it's what you give. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Is a free pattern on Ravelry that was designed by our friend, Karin of Periwinkle Sheep. It's an easy pattern but it takes a good two or three inches of knitting before you can see the diamond pattern forming. And it can be made using any weight yarn with the appropriate needle size. Back to Kathleen's projects, she has a keyhole scarf in progre...

Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY: Liz is back! And a visit to the museum
http://chickswithsticksofglenmontny.blogspot.com/2015/04/liz-is-back-and-visit-to-museum.html
Knitting with The Chicks with Sticks of Glenmont, NY. Knitting for the needy. Your greatness is not what you have, it's what you give. Tuesday, April 28, 2015. And a visit to the museum. We welcomed back our snowbird Liz today (she's the one in the center). It was good to see her again after our long, cold winter. She jumped right in there with her Mistake Stitch Scarf. Kathleen is already on our next project, making adult mittens to go with a scarf she made earlier. Cinzia needed to sew up some seams.
