Free Pattern: River Tam | Jeshknits
https://jeshknits.wordpress.com/free-pattern-river-tam
Free Pattern: River Tam. River is meant to be a much closer fitting hat than her brother, making her the perfect thing for those who like the shape of tams but don’t have enough hair to wear the larger ones. Simon is structured, with a fluffy, thick fabric; River is drapey and fluid, with a slinky lightweight feel. And, of course, River Tam looks better in red. Grignasco Top Print, 2 skeins (110 yds/50g per skein). US6/4mm 16″ circs. Prep rnd: switch to larger needles, *k4, m1,* repeat around, end k2, m1.

19 January, 2010 at 9:53 pm ( knitting. At least I hope it isn’t done wrong! I’m halfway through the left front, then I can finish sewing up the whole thing and knit the shawl collar and buttonbands. So close I can almost taste it! Except not really, because I don’t think yarn tastes particularly good. Fuzzy, maybe.). 20 January, 2010 at 7:29 am. What a great pattern. The color is perfect for you too! 21 January, 2010 at 8:20 am. Gives me hairballs, personally. 22 January, 2010 at 11:17 pm.

Well, you'll just have to wait a little longer, because I've got the end of summer blahs. Hope your move goes well, and your spirits pick up. I'll be here waiting to see your wonderful FO's! Good luck with the move! Thought I should return the favor and leave you a comment! Hey, how did you find me anyway?

Sticks and Thread: Learning new things

Friday, August 03, 2007. The summer of Rachel. I made some jewelry! Then it was time for some semi-instant gratification:. I taught myself crochet! Well, Debbie Stoller and interweave crochet taught me. I had absolutely no interest in crossing over to the other side of fiber arts until I saw this. The Babette Blanket. And it was like the clouds had parted and angel voices were singing from the heavens. I had to have it. (If you're still not convinced, check out these bad boys. I think I sounded a little ...

Knitting Mouse: Winter is Coming!
http://knittingmouse.blogspot.com/2008/09/winter-is-coming.html
The chaos of me and my knitting. Saturday, September 20, 2008. Thank whatever you like to thank for the fact that Summer has broken and it's becoming cooler. This has prompted a few things from me:. 1) More knitting. Barbara's BEAUTIFUL sweater is whipping along. I have almost half a sleeve done. Then it's just another sleeve and it's done. Pretty neat for not knitting on it all summer, eh? And no.it is not the Pewter Coat. We don't speak of that anymore.). After seeing the gal over at sock pr0n. Knittin...

The WoolWytch: Vegas, Day 3 complete
http://woolwytch.blogspot.com/2009/03/vegas-day-3-complete.html
Scribblings of a fiber addicted mom of two who loves to spin, dye, sew, while harboring aspirations of building a weighted loom, and homeschool her children. At the same time by day she Manages QA/QC teams in software development. Saturday, March 21, 2009. Vegas, Day 3 complete. I actually took pictures for day 3 day. I can't upload them right now for fear of waking the kids with the noise of trying to find the memory card adapter for my new cell phone camera's memory card, but they really do exist.

Well - I'm tired, I should get a drink of water and go to bed. At the same time by day she Manages QA/QC teams in software development. Monday, April 6, 2009. Back to spinning, back to dying. My washer has a spin only cycle. Yep I will now be able to process more wool at home (oh I can hear my husband groaning over that now.) and I can spin out the fiber that I've dyed. I'm actually considering selling my Colon...
