Bad Boy Bubble: May 2009
http://badboybubble.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 28 May 2009. So after chucking around a few ideas I have been keeping my eyes open for something that would be suitable in terms of size as I seem to be a little too tall for a medium and way too small for a large frame normally. The seat height I run usually means I have a lot of bar to saddle drop and being inflexible like most cyclists I simply can't run too much drop. Anyway after reading the paper on the weekend I saw that my good mate Jeremy who owns The Ride Inn. It runs full Campagnolo ...

Bad Boy Bubble: Tour de Tri
http://badboybubble.blogspot.com/2009/06/tour-de-tri.html
Tuesday, 2 June 2009. I've been meaning to post this for a while but have only just got the chance to get around to it so here goes. This weekend is the Tour de Tri. The second and most important reason is that I read Mark's Story. To my mind the least I can do is participate. I have no desire to win the race just to be a part of a good cause and try and enjoy the weekend. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Avanti plus six hour. Hidden vale single track. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Port Mac 12 hour [ finally i get to race my Carbide]. So i have been talking the Telegraph Point track up so much over the last 12 months since racing there last year that it was definitely going to be a must ride for this years' race schedule, and this time we would be recruiting a much bigger Brisbane contingent. Just excited i guess. The track was so awesome that as we made our way around the course we would find sweet little...

Monday, July 16, 2012. THE WRAP FROM THE ENDURO SUPER SERIES. Well what an awesome start to the year! I have had a great series in The Tailwind Promotions enduro summer series supported by Maxxis! The first two races were relative incident free for me but, when I returned home from the second race I found a serious failure in the rear mount on my Niner sir. So with race 3 and 4 still ahead of me, turned to my friend in bikes Shannon AKA Koiled Imports. The outcome of Race 3? And make sure u sort out the ...

RUPRECHT CYCLING JOURNAL: June 2009
http://nickthegardener.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 20, 2009. Getting up this morning I was ready to hit Mt Nebo for my now monthly time trial. Looking at the weather and texting a few people, I found a soft excuse not to get out and ride. Now it really is raining, unlike this morning when it was threating. As I got to the top of the climb, a bit of cloud was hanging around, and some rain as well. Pitty I did not have any arm warmers, it got a bit cold. Once a week until the epic, need to ride this bit of fire trail. I enjoy the climb, ...

Monday, October 3, 2011. Tour de Timor Race Report. This is a picture looking back toward Dili where we had dinner the first night in town. Arriving in Dili the Wednesday before the race I was not really that sure what to expect… As this was my first overseas Holiday, there was a lot of sensory overload going on in the first few days! The one thing which scared life out of me and Miriam when she arrived though was the Traffic, (all I will say is I am not sure if there are any traffic rules)! The first pa...

Bad Boy Bubble: Has it really been that long since I posted last ?
http://badboybubble.blogspot.com/2009/05/has-it-really-been-that-long-since-i.html
Wednesday, 27 May 2009. Has it really been that long since I posted last? Well I guess the net doesn't lie so it's been just over 2 months since I last posted. Oh well at least I personally think that's not too bad as I've been out doing other things and not sitting on my clacker in front of the keyboard. I came across this. Article from Michael Barry of Team Highroad-Columbia. Quite an interesting read and gives it from a pro's perspective on the toughness of just one stage. 27 May 2009 at 3:10 pm.
