It has definately been a good surprise. It is not a CoD clone as many (including myself) have feared. Sunday, March 27, 2011. SEALS have breached the perimeter! One of the downfalls of SOCOM 3 was creating maps with multiple game modes in mind (well that, and making them too big.) In the first 2 SOCOM games, you could only play one mode per map, which by todays gaming standard would be frowned upon, but the map design was brilliant! I have said it before and I will say it again, SOCOM II's 22 maps are the best of any shooter to date! Storming the camp in Sandstorm. Base had a huge wall that went around it.
