Wednesday, June 19, 2013. Now that I've done it I can't think about going back. I'm kind of obsessed with Flickr. For whatever reason when I post here I feel as if it's more formal or final. Oh, yes - here's this work. It's done. It's "finished". But on Flickr it just feels like. Whatever. Done or not, here's this thing. And it's fun. Why do I have to take everything so seriously? Since I turned Sodapop.nu into a Wordpress site, I've internally (i.e. for myself only) used post tags ("labels" in Blogger-speak) to see if I liked them, needed them, or wanted to include them for presentational purposes. I figured out pretty early on that I did, but was so lazy that only JUST NOW have I sorted through them and added functionality for them to my current theme. Sooo. yay? I think I'm also about to shift around everything in some new way because right now I dislike how not everything matches (all the category pages are different, static pages themselves look different. annoying! Monday, June 25, 2012. In case you didn't notice on the way in, I updated the Sodapop.nu index page to be a little less esoteric. Although when I first made it I liked the idea that it was mysterious and not immediately obvious what was going on, I'm tired of my boyfriend visiting the site and asking, How do I look at your photos again? Thursday, February 14, 2013. I've been discouraged by logging in to my Wordpress administrator panel to find-CAPTCHA be damned! Tons and tons of comments from bots trying to sell me Ugg boots and Levitra; and signing into my cPanel to find out lots of hits to my main site are coming in from websites with .ru extensions that I suspect are really more sneaky marketing portals sending fake visitors/hits to me just so I'll visit them. To find out why people are coming from there. Wtf is she doing? But really...

Sunday, December 11, 2011. SODAPOP.NU JOINS THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY. After days of slaving away in my extra time, Sodapop.nu has now been converted to Wordpress! This odyssey has included. Developing my own Wordpress theme (no. like. REALLY developing the hell out of it). Using WAMP to test the theme. Posting my art now, WOOOO! Posting some new photos and getting the ability to post older shit, WOOOO! Killing the photoblog :( Aww, but it's been integrated fully, so it lives on! Knock on wood.).
