http://onethousandtwelvemiles.blogspot.com/2013/04/less-than-8-weeks.html
My injury prone Runner's Toolkit. Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Less than 8 weeks. Less than 8 weeks until my first Marathon. And I only really just started believing I can finish about 11 days ago. Between training for the Marathon, being a mom to my 2 girls, work, the non-profit and planning Ladybug Run. I am not left with a lot of time for blogging. but since this is a memory I'd like to preserve and I am always on the computer and NEVER journal anymore - this is the best I am going to do. I hope you pla...

http://onethousandtwelvemiles.blogspot.com/2012/01/my-15k-training-plan.html
My injury prone Runner's Toolkit. Saturday, January 14, 2012. My 15K Training plan. Http:/ www.runningahead.com/logs/b6dc94f6d9f84a72a54839dd542bbee9/plans/f1fe441ef6e64d8f993514adcb9983e3. I would like to keep increasing my mileage without over-training since I am using this as a springboard into training for Rock and Roll Half in May and would like to have my base higher going into it so that 13.1 will seem easy. I'm curious to hear any feedback or advice from my wise running friends. I will be there!

1012 miles: My injury prone Runner's Toolkit
http://onethousandtwelvemiles.blogspot.com/p/my-injury-prone-runners-toolkit.html
My injury prone Runner's Toolkit. My injury prone Runner's Toolkit. Some people can just run and run and run and have no issues. I am not one of those people. This is what I have learned that helps me. I am no expert. Everyone is different and what has worked for me, may not work for you. but I wanted to share nonetheless. When I started running again (this would be my third or fourth attempt) in the fall of 2010, I decided this time I would start with a plan. So I used the Couch25K plan. Then I added mo...

My injury prone Runner's Toolkit. Monday, April 14, 2014. Vernonia Marathon Race Recap. This is kinda rambly and all over the place- but I wanted to type this up when it was fresh. Sorry it's a long one. Cheering section at mile 9. Feeling good here at mile 9. Would I need to call it in? How long would this take if I just walked the rest? My Garmin time is 2 min less than official due to auto pause and me stopping. I not only finished, I finished strong with my head held high. I liked the hoody Leslie Jo...

Henstrom Happenings: January 2011
http://henstromhappenings.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 12, 2011. A Tale of 2 Trees. The Saturday after Thanksgiving we set out on our annual tree hunting adventure. We ended up at the same place we went last year because it is only 5 minutes from our house and after you pick out your tree they come and cut it down for you with a chainsaw. Mike really prefers this to cutting it himself, I tend to pick really tall trees with really big trunks. This year was no exception! Annual trip downtown to the Christmas tree, and to visit with Santa.

http://henstromhappenings.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 27, 2010. I know it was about 6 weeks ago but I realized I never blogged about Noah's actual b-day. His b-day was also his first day of preschool for the year. He missed the cutoff for Kindergarten by 15 days. Oh well! First day of school pic. Red Robin, of course :). BLAST from the past. 17 years ago I was a freshman at BYU (yes I am getting old! 17 years ago I met some amazing girls who have turned out to be amazing women! I have not laughed that much in a long time! Too many to count.
