I will meet with an audiologist in about four weeks to activate my ABI and have him patiently run through several different combinations of electrode pairs that will stimulate my brainstem, hopefully allowing to restore some 'sound awareness.'. I have no idea what the results will be. May 26, 2010 at 12:54 PM.

You have no idea how much I miss all of you. June 7, 2010 at 6:14 PM. What day do you get your ABI turned on? Do the doctors anticipate youll be able to hear music again? If you were to blast music with heavy bass would you be able to feel it? Or say a mac truck goes by, do you feel it and then hear it in your mind from memory?
