Synth Project: VCF Demo | Solder Spot
https://solderspot.wordpress.com/2014/12/06/synth-project-vcf-demo
A Hobbyist's Journal. Synth Project: VCF Demo. December 6, 2014. Middot; by solderspot. Middot; in analog. Middot; Leave a comment. As I needed to build an amplifier circuit for the synth project. I decided to breadboard the VCO in order to better design and test out the circuit. After getting the amp working I was curious to try out one of the other modules so I assembled the VFC to see how it worked. Can’t wait to get this thing built. Comments welcome Cancel reply. A Hobbyist's Journal. Cross Compiling for Raspberry Pi – Part II. February 4, 2016. Middot; by solderspot. Middot; in how things work. Middot; 14 Comments. In a previous post. I described how to use a Ubuntu instance to compile a simple “hello world” program that runs on the Raspberry Pi. In this post I look at how to cross compile the OpenCV test code [which I created and covered in another post. And the prebuilt Raspberry Pi toolchain on GitHub. For both the Jessie and Wheezy versions of Raspbian.

A Hobbyist's Journal. Cross Compiling For Raspberry Pi – Part I. November 17, 2014. Middot; by solderspot. Middot; in how things work. Middot; 5 Comments. The Raspberry Pi is not the best environment to natively develop code on. I don’t mind using console-based editors like vi. But I’d much rather use the more powerful GUI based tools that I already use on the Mac. What Is Cross Compiling? In very general terms, cross compiling just means developing software on one system, the host. Menu so that the cros...

My Robot Blog: An Efficient And Simple C++ API for the Rasperry Pi Camera Module
http://robotblogging.blogspot.com/2013/10/an-efficient-and-simple-c-api-for.html
Saturday, 26 October 2013. An Efficient And Simple C API for the Rasperry Pi Camera Module. For the past few days I've been messing around with my new raspberry pi camera modules (see earlier blog posts for excessive details) and part of that has involved putting together a nice and easy to use api to access the camera in c and read its frames. This post is a guide to installation, an overview of the very simple api and a description of the sample application. Once all is up and running type:. This is th...

Paramount Tools & Technology - SolderSponge - New Method
Paramount Tools and Technology. SolderSponge - New Method. Constant tip temperature - faster and consistent operations. No pitting - enhanced tip life. Directly replaces cellulose sponges - nothing else required. Wet cellulose sponge – the disadvantages. Lead / T . In Solder . Wiping process causes the water to cool the soldering iron tip. Cooled tip causes solidification leaving a residual amount of solder. Molten solder “rides” on wet sponge, remains instead on soldering tip. Lead / Tin Solder. No we...
