Just another WordPress.com site. Nothing new with my running. I’m in week three of Hal Higdon’s half marathon program and its going well. I’m roasting coffee daily in my hot air popper and I’m liking the taste better than any I can buy. My wife has ordered a 1 lb roaster for my birthday, that attaches to the gas grill rotisserie. Just another WordPress.com site. Ran 5 miles at the American River today. It is my favorite place to run. Today was my long run, per my training schedule. There was quite a few people running and riding today. I like running where others are running, somehow I feel a comradie with them. Just another WordPress.com site. Ran 5 miles Friday and Saturday for a weekly total of 20 miles. This is my goal 20 miles a week for June, then I will attempt 24 miles per week in July and August. I’ll see what September brings. I still want to run a marathon in Nov. 2014. I’m not planning on rushing it if I’m not ready. I want to run the rest of my life! So I won’t go to far to fast. I am increasing slowly and slowly working on my speed. I am improving. How long should I train for the marathon?
