Amenities at Vavaghio are comfortable but basic. The two guest houses on the island are constructed from sago leaf roof and walls with wooden, matted floors. Each consists of a bedroom with four single beds or two doubles, if preferred, and e. Ach bed has a mosquito net. There is also a large covered veranda with table and chairs to enjoy the balmy mornings and evenings. There is a large guest Mess building with lounge, dining area, kitchen and office, and also a. Vavaghio Guest House is located on Vakao Island at the north-western tip of Isabel Province in the Solomon Islands. The island is approximately 3 kilometres by 2 kilometres and rises from the sea to about 150 metres in height. Vavaghio Guest House is located on the north-eastern side and is the only inhabited part of the island. See the Google site map on the next page. How to Get There. The preferred option is for you to fly from Honiara to Suavanao airfield and we will collect you from there.
