AIT Car Pooling Facebook Page is an initiative of AIT Campus and Sustainability Club with the following objectives:. Sharing the cost of travel expenses. Reduce the carbon emissions of the campus. A chance for socializing during a long motor drive. The car pooling can be used in the following scenarios:. Travelling from or to the airports. Bulk shopping that would require a vehicle E.g. Makro, Talad Thai. Users owning vehicles that wouldn’t mind some company with or without a fee. When: Date and Time.

Trip to Talad-Thai (Vegetable Market). AIT Campus Sustainability Club is happy to announce that it has successfully organised a trip to Talad-Thai (local vegetable market) for the AIT community on 3oth January 2016. The aim of this trip was to promote the use of cloth bag while shopping (except for meat items), positively refuse plastic bags offered by vendors and promote carpooling among the community. Sustainability at AIT: Waste Segregation Project. Khamom Palo Htaw [shown in the photo taken at art competition for kids organized by AITCSC. To promote recyclable waste packaging at community level, separate cage bins for solid waste and wet waste have been placed in various spots around AIT campus namely Lawson 108 convenience store, EEM building, AIT Extension and Easy House. The ‘AIT- A Living Laboratory’ Steering Committee with the assistance of the Student Union and the AIT Campus Sustainability Club will be organizing a ‘Cleaning Day’ on 15th October, 2014. This event is organized to involve the community in a short clean up exercise of certain areas. The details of the event are given below:. Date – 15th October, 2014.
