Sunday, June 3, 2012. This shirt is a size xxl and I really like the fabric. It is a part cotton jersy with some latex and that makes it nice and stretchy. It looks blue in the pictures-but it is really a soft grey. This pattern called for the back to be larger than the front. I have not decided what I think -maybe it would come in handy if someone had an ample bum- to help cover it up? I down loaded some new chemo cap patterns -both crochet and sewing and I want to test them out? June 3, 2012 at 5:55 PM.

Grammy's Studio and Me: January 2016
http://grammysstudio.blogspot.com/2016_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 4, 2016. Just to prove I am not sitting around all day, here are the two baby quilts I made for our church babies. I'm a bit late in making them but since I couldn't sew/quilt for a few months, I have hit the ground running. I also made a girl quilt for my daughters niece but I need to get a picture. I'll post that later. What an incredible movie. Anyway, as I journey thru my prayer life, the quilt will be my gift to me. When it's finished, I will post it. Hugs. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Grammy's Studio and Me: Baby Quilt
http://grammysstudio.blogspot.com/2016/06/baby-quilt.html
Monday, June 6, 2016. This is another finished baby quilt for church. I think I have one more to do and I'll be caught up. These go so quickly. This center panel is so cute. Doris provided me with this one and she added the borders. I cut all the pieces, did the quilting and put on the binding. Check another one off! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Grammy's Studio and Me: August 2015
http://grammysstudio.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2015. Oh yes, let me tell you. I got really sick in the end of June and could not stand for any length of time. I am better, thanks. Now, I could sit and sew or make cards, so I pieced a new quilt top and a matching zippered bag. (and a few more as well! And some of the cards. I was invited to a Stampin Up demonstration and got hooked! I love this new hobby! Well, more after I corral my pictures into a manageable pile! I hope the pictures inspire you in some way. Ok, going on. So, here...

The Sewing Granny: January 2010
http://webbsway-thesewinggranny.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 31, 2010. Cory's second birthday shirt and lessons that went with it. Have you noticed that every project has it's own set of lessons to learn? This piece of knit was so light-weight and SOOO much stretch that it was like a wild bronco - tossing me this way and that. I was determined that it wouldn't "throw" me! This went on the duration if the project. This is where I made it far enough into the project to line my neck band to the shirt. Today we actually had some SUNSHINE and it got up ...

The Sewing Granny: March 2010
http://webbsway-thesewinggranny.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Here it is after midnight and my day has come and flown away from me. No wonder I just keep getting older each day! I really love my counselor - she is such an angel. I find myself opening up to her when I cannot to any body else. We made it home and I fed DH and he put new spark plugs in my little Tracker , while I straightened up my mess. Why yes I did - my second box of knit fabric arrived from Fabric. com -all 17 pounds of it and I love the looks of it. After I had fixed th...

Monday, August 27, 2012. Cowboy keeping DH's computer warm for him. It was such a pretty day here today , a mix of sun and clouds which made for a pleasant temperatures. I have actually got a lot accomplished today-even IF most of it is fighting with the computers. I was so grateful that I actually got one of them fixed -it is about time that I got to win ONE of the battles. It is amazing how many hours you can put into one of these mean old machines-but they are so nice when they work. I got to do a lit...

http://webbsway-thesewinggranny.blogspot.com/2012/06/life-lessons-can-be-such-challenge.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. Life lessons can be such a challenge. This is a banner that one of our granddaughters made up to welcome her Pawpaw home from the hospital Last Saturday. The hospital had the whole room full when they told everybody there was nothing else they could do for him-they were sending him home to die and to just keep him comfortable with pain medicines. This last trip I noticed that they had put them on a little table with freebies for all. This has been an ongoing problem for a couple ...
