Our journey with Glioblastoma Multiforma Grade IV - Brain Cancer from. Beginning to the end and beyond. Simple scenes from my life and travels. I have a fancy camera, but love mostly the moments I capture on a whim on my iPhone. Moving forward in a new world, a new life. Focusing on living with hope, love and renewed purpose. thesuburbwoman - About
http://www.thesuburbwoman.com/about.htm
Raised in the country, but raising my kids in the suburbs - I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. It's taken me 40 years to learn to embrace my introvertedness, boxing gloves are not always necessary, life doesn't have to be fair to be fun, and ADD can be used to your advantage. The Suburb Woman started as a joke several years ago - the antithesis to the Pioneer Woman - a fellow Oklahoman who I fight bouts of jealousy of while I'm certain we'd be fantastic friends. Amazing Grace - Year One. Posted on June 15th, 2016. When I started writing this post, it was about death. Last spring, I was standing on metaphorical train tracks as a runaway locomotive bared down on my family. The light was blinding and the horn was deafening. Impact was inevitable. The painful aftermath was sharp, deep and left permanent scars. I remember the helplessness as I dutifully selected a cemetery plot, a coffin, a church and planned a funeral all while he slept at home. I remember sleeping ...
