What I wish people would understand. January 2, 2015. January 2, 2015. The viscous cycle of hope. Months passed and nothing. Stark white BFN and BFN reminded me that it wasn’t my time yet. Deep down I kept believing that one day it would happen. That was hope bubbling deep inside me. A year later, 3 losses later I’ve realized that hope is a bitch. We wont all get our rainbows and when people tell me not to give up hope I can’t help but scream inside. Why set myself up for disappointment? January 2, 2015.

The OBGYN did a standard pelvic exam, a Doppler check, gave me a script for intake blood work and orders to have an NT scan if we wanted to. Our NT scan 2 weeks later revealed we were expecting twins. The next couple of week were somewhat of a blur.
