In the midst of a 15-day work week, which culminate in a 12 hour day at the PNC Arena for 3 Disney-On-Ice shows. Then a good goddamn day off! Which, of course, is followed by 3 out of the next 4 nights. I am too old for this kind of lifestyle.

On this visit, we enjoyed the Fried Trout and Popcorn Shrimp with coleslaw and baked potato ($8.49, Friday lunch). Our meals came heaped. Threatening to spill off the oval platters they were on. Food is tasty and consistent. Portions are huge. Service is friendly and attentive. Definitely a place we'll go again. 1625 W. Market St, Smithfield. Skipper's Fish Fry and Market.
