I dont know if this formula ever exists(of course it does), I dont know if this formula is used anywhere but I know something, I know the number of squares in the picture below:. The square, as seen, has 4 rows( R1,R2,R3,R4) and 4 columns(C1,C2,C3,C4). 4* 4 = 16. So what do we have here? Formed by the paring of 4 small squares. We have moved a bit.
