Adventures in reading. No, seriously, that's what this is about. Sunday, February 22, 2015. Book Forty-One - The Princess Diaries - Part Two. I saw The Princess Diaries. Came out and the adults never talked but only made annoying sounds. Charlie Brown was made for kids and the adults just got in the way. But I digress. Posted by Peggy Tryton. Beloved Books: January 2014
http://beloved-books.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Adventures in reading. No, seriously, that's what this is about. Saturday, January 25, 2014. Book Forty - Far From The Madding Crowd - Part Two. About 2/3 of the way though and I do love this book. Mr Thomas Hardy sure does know people. His characters could be people that I know. That's one of my favorite things about Jane Austen! What is there about this work of his that I didn't find in Tess of the d'Urbervilles? No idea. Perhaps I didn't give Tess enough of a chance. Posted by Peggy Tryton. Good Omens...

Adventures in reading. No, seriously, that's what this is about. Saturday, February 22, 2014. Book Forty - Far From The Madding Crowd - Part Three. I finished this book weeks ago and really liked it. I have several pages of notes but haven't taken the time to put them in post form yet. I shall endeavor to do that soon! I have thirty books to go to complete the list. I'm saving Enid Blyton and AA Milne for the very end. I suppose I should go with. Posted by Peggy Tryton. Links to this post.

Beloved Books: Book Forty - Far From The Madding Crowd - Part Four
http://beloved-books.blogspot.com/2014/03/book-forty-far-from-madding-crowd-part.html
Adventures in reading. No, seriously, that's what this is about. Sunday, March 9, 2014. Book Forty - Far From The Madding Crowd - Part Four. Bathsheba Everdene, a woman who is beautiful and desired by men. (Seriously, who would name a child Bathsheba? Parents who want her to become a physicist? Bathsheba was the original Everdene even though she spelled it differently. She was also stubborn, but I don’t reckon she did much hunting. Hardy seems to be a feminist one moment and critical of women the next.

A gay, equine, military, epistolary romance for the ages. On December 1, 2011. Book going well. If you are planning to buy it but hadn’t got round to it, the sooner the better and here is the site (with bonus video). In case you don’t know, we’re working with a new company which publishes books as soon as they get a certain number of pre-purchases. There’s no danger. Won’t be published, but we’d like to get the first batch done and out of the door. It WOULD make a great present! 3 I seem to be being char...

Happy New Warhorses | Warhorses of Letters
https://warhorsesofletters.wordpress.com/2014/01/03/happy-new-warhorses
A gay, equine, military, epistolary romance for the ages. On January 3, 2014. It has been a terrible while. If anyone ever sees this I shall be surprised and delighted. 1 Warhorses of Letters, Series 3, is on Radio 4 for four Sundays from January 12th at 19:15. We are currently editing it. Stephen Fry, Daniel Rigby and Tamsin Greig remain excellent, you will be shocked to learn. The recording this year was glamorous and transatlantic, because of Twelfth Night being on in NY. Larr; allo, allo.

Adventures in reading. No, seriously, that's what this is about. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Book Thirty-Nine - The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists - Part One. I knew nothing about this book when I started reading it, and that's how I like it. No preconceived notions! The first hundred pages or so were witty and fun. I'm about halfway through and it hasn't been so much fun lately, but I'm still liking it. Posted by Peggy Tryton. Links to this post. Labels: The Ragged Trousered Philanthropists.
