And at the beginning her designs were inspired by different concepts like Moulin Rouge, or just simply 80s fashion…. Creating the round hill pattern. Posted on May 19th, 2015. Creating new patterns is really fun and exciting. It takes a lot of going back and forth to get it just right, but it’s all worth it the end. We get inspired…. We test it out…. The pattern goes through some tweeks and changes before we love it most. Home is where the pottery is. Our beautiful studio loft is located in Boston’s Fort Point Channel. It’s our favorite neighborhood in the city, though we have no idea why it is called Fort Point. Perhaps during ye olde revolutionary time there was a sturdy fort here. Recently, it’s also been called the Innovation District!
