Thursday, March 3, 2011. Taryn's Cherry Bar Dessert. Here is the recipe for the Cherry Bar dessert I (Taryn) made for Tuesday. Night I had a few requests so I thought this would be the easiest. Way to get it out there for everyone! 1 cup butter, softened. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon almond extract. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 2 cans (21 ounces each) cherry pie filling. 1 cup confectioners' sugar. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon almond extract. 2 to 3 tablespoons milk.
