Tuesday, January 13, 2015. All {TOGETHER} family photos. I was anxious to get with our photographer (love you Melissa! And get pictures of us, finally, all TOGETHER! We waited till a beautiful fall day and took full advantage. I was so excited to get back to The Wren's Nest- the place we had the big fundraiser dinner to bring Nell home. Talk about full circle! Our N finally with her N. Nell may look like she is my girl. but let me assure you. she is not. This little bit is a Daddy's girl to the core!

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Bates' 5 acts of kindness. Inspired by our love BIG acts of kindness day we did to celebrate Nell's birthday, we decided that every year we would do acts of kindness to celebrate the kids birthdays. Bates came up with his list of 5 Acts for his day. It was fun to see what he came up with, and which ones stood out to him from the ones we did on Nell's love BIG day. A newly five year old mind is super fun. 3 Mail a letter to someone. I am loving this new birthday tradition!

Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Oh hey there blog. It's not you. It's me. I'm just in this weird place. So We are here. Just a sweet complete little family of five. Loving life, and enjoying the heck out of being together. I just wrestle with how much of that to document here or just how much to treasure and store up in my heart. We've been snowed in all week, well iced really which does not make for fun snow play. But today we bundled up and ventured out before the sun melted it all! And it feels good.

Thursday, November 21, 2013. New jobs have happened in the Brown house. Yes, job S. As in plural. As in a crazy. Few months around here, and a total and perfect God thing. So let's back way up, to like August, and start with me. I worked at our church, part time, doing Children's Ministry. Loved it, loved the job, loved the people. Monday, September 8, 2014. Nell’s third birthday. One day, before we left on our first trip to Korea, I was in the car by myself. A line of a Casting Crowns song caught my ear…. The song is entitled “Just another Birthday” and you know a waiting momma who is on the verge of loosing it over missing “just another birthday”, well, it’s a hard and sad place to be.
