And now, I am starting this 'blogging' thing.will this come back to haunt me? Reading those comments some 15 to 20 years later and without the benefit of the historical setting and a complete understanding of the father/daughter dynamic in place at the time, one could get a completely inacurate impression. SOME STINK FROM THE PEW. Some thoughts from Bobber. Tuesday, May 12, 2009. Why are you so surprised? Recently I was asked to provide a 'tribute' (eulogy) at an uncle's funeral. The instructions given included that it was to 'not be too heavy'; otherwise, I was allowed to include/exclude whatever I wished. This sounded easy enough until I attempted to summarize a dear friend's life and provide a comment or two while balancing the insinuated direction to 'keep it short'. Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Here are all the flowers I made for the final cake:. This is a pansey that our instructor made. Mine did not get painted at 1:30 am but I do love the way they look! In the meantime, I made a cake for Vanessa and Debbie (at work) for their birthdays,. And cupcakes for National Cupcake Day (I don't even know if that day really exists but one of the schools that I work in needed a little pick-me-up so we created it - followed the next week by the Festival of Chips and Dip).

Our friend Nick worked very hard on it! He was able to save all my pictures and all of Rob's documents - we are so grateful! He has never done that before without having to have surgery so we are very glad!

Monday, April 27, 2009. Update - Easter Weekend. It has been a while since I have posted on the blog. We have been pretty busy. For Easter weekend I went to Oklahoma to visit. Mom and Dad came from Canada and Paul and Emily came from Kansas to Judason and Amanda's house. Rob had LTC with the kids at church so he had to stay home.
