Fun, frolicking, and other adventures in a new city. Jul 17, 2013. I had my second, first day at a new company this week. I'm still digesting everything: new people, a commute, having to work again. Sunday really felt like the day before the first day of school. What will I wear? Who willI sit with on the bus? Will I make friends? I do, however, think that this will be a great change. Fun, frolicking, and other adventures in a new city. Dec 30, 2012. Year in Review (Part 1). I'm getting ready to go back into NY to hang out with Lyon and ring in the new year. Before that, it's always fun to recap some of the year's highlights. This is a tough one. Some of the better trips were to Budapest, Istanbul, Oslo, Bordeaux, Bath, Stockholm and the week I did with my brother through Rome, Zurich, and Vienna, but I LOVED Copenhagen. We live in a nice little neighborhood off of Mass Ave. I like it bc we're about a 5 min walk from the Porter Sq T stop - I can be out the door and on the train platform 7 mins door to door but it has a bit of a neighborhood feel despite being off Mass Ave and living in an apt building. Fun, frolicking, and other adventures in a new city. Aug 30, 2013. Top 10 NY Experience? This past weekend, we went to a floating clubhouse and it was a ball. They thought so too. It was great. We took a boat from near World Financial Center to a bar that's just floating in the Hudson. It's a perk for members of the Manhattan Sailing Club, but this summer they let outsiders onboard for $20 for the boat ride. Who could ask for anything more? Friday, August 30, 2013. Jul 17, 2013.
