Our arrival in Bali was exactly how you’d expect: trying to find a reasonable taxi driver, arriving after midnight at the hotel we booked and hearing that the place is full. After having things sorted out, we sat on our tropical garden terrace with our first Bintang (famous Bali beer) and we finally realised that we had left Australia….
