Saturday, January 12, 2013. Degrees out, sunny, windy, and brown snow is melting away as grass makes an appearance. The January thaw, here for only a short time, but needed none the less! Resolutions. I had written my own last year, and when New Years Day came just a couple short weeks ago, I sat down to reflect. I found out 1) I wrote WAY too many to accomplish and 2) many were too vague to accomplish. This year I was more specific, and also more realistic :). Here is what I have:. 1 1/2 down so far :).

Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Well, we are nearing the end of yet another summer. I'm sorry to see it go. Yes, just a tad. He has pulled some late nighters, and it isn't over yet.but a week from tomorrow it will be. I'm glad for him, and his very anxious classmates. We made it to Chicago to visit my little brother, which while quick (and extremely hot) was much needed. We had friends visit, and there are still more to come in the next couple of weeks! My new year doesn't start in January, it, like for most teachers, starts in August/September when it's back to work with maybe new students, new challenges, and new goals for yourself. Sunday, November 21, 2010. It's been a productive and relaxing weekend. I was able to make and can 10 quarts of chunky cinnamon applesauce, while Micah and our brother in law Jared went hunting. No luck this weekend but Micah did get a buck earlier in the week, a 5 pointer. He was hoping for his "trophy deer" this weekend, but at least we'll have meat for the next several months! Wednesday, August 24, 2011. Goodbye Summer.Hello Autumn.(HA, thats me)! I'm ready for the challenge.I think. I'd like to say how excited I am for the school year, and while I am looking forward to changes, I do regret how quickly this summer passed. I ended up working 2 jobs, and up until last week, was working 45-50 hrs a week. The past two weeks have been great! When we do get time, we try to spend it with our four legged crazies. Eddie, our oldest pup who refuses to look at the camera.
