Something Interesting: Lecture Week 10 - Video Games

http://somethinginteresting23.blogspot.com/2009/10/lecture-week-10-video-games.html

Thursday, October 8, 2009. Lecture Week 10 - Video Games. This weeks lecture was all about video games! Not that I am a gamer myself but a lecture about games? Decidedly more interesting than any other of my subjects at the moment, even if the lecture is at the ungodly hour of 8am. So, up until 2005 it was widely believed that 80% of gamers were 18-25 year old males. Current statistics show that the demographics of todays gamers are;. 59% 18-40 year old males. PC Games (mostly played by men). Find out wh...

Something Interesting: Lecture Week 8 - CyberPolics and eDemocracy

http://somethinginteresting23.blogspot.com/2009/09/lecture-week-8.html

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Lecture Week 8 - CyberPolics and eDemocracy. This week we had a guest lecturer, Stephen Stockwell. He talked about politics and the internet and the many options available for politically minded people to express their opinions online, and the ways in which political parties and leaders attempt to use the internet to influence voters. Common definitions include 'the rule of the many', 'the rule of the majority' and 'government of the people, by the people, for the people'.

Something Interesting: Lecture Week 9 - teach yourself software

http://somethinginteresting23.blogspot.com/2009/10/lecture-week-9.html

Wednesday, October 7, 2009. Lecture Week 9 - teach yourself software. This weeks lecture was all about the various (and apparently easy) ways you can teach yourself how to use software. I was happy to see that my theory of just fiddling around until you can get it to work is actually a valid way to learn! Jason did have some more specific tips though;. First of all, figure out what you need to do. You will probably end up changing your mind on what you need to do several times, this is ok. Subscribe to: ...

Something Interesting: Tute Week 8 - download some freeware

http://somethinginteresting23.blogspot.com/2009/09/tute-week-8.html

Tuesday, September 22, 2009. Tute Week 8 - download some freeware. So, our tutorial task for this week was to go to download and use one of the freeware sites Jason mentioned in the lecture. I chose to download iTunes because I have always been a media player girl so I thought I'd give it a go. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is my blog for New Communication Technologies. This is the first webpage I ever made and it's probably still the best. Here, then, is what I was able to note immediately after the decapitation: the eyelids and lips of the guillotined man worked in irregularly rhythmic contractions for about five or six seconds . I waited for several seconds. The spasmodic movements ceased. It was then that I called in a strong, sharp voice: 'Languille! Dr Beaurieux, Archives d'Anthropologie Criminelle. June 28th, 1905. My latest masterpiece: kinda obscure. Ford Prefe...

Shaymus22 B33b3s Remembertosmile Kainti. Something Interesting Episode #002b. October 8, 2006. B33b3s is out getting books to read at the library, so I do the right thing and record a podcast. Why? Because I’m awesome. ;). I talk about the Battlestar Galactica Season 3 premier, a hilarious video I found posted on Kotaku from 1988, and Ronald D. Moore’s BSG commentary podcast! Links to things mentioned on the show:. Ronald D. Moore’s Battlestar Galactica commentary podcast. October 1, 2006.

My blog is about abortion. Why they had abortions and how they feel after they have had abortions. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. GoOd ThInGS CoMe tO a EnD. Blogging has became quiet popular with both young and older adults. One might wonder if blogging has or will become the new Columbus dispatch and be known as the Blogger’s dispatch.  . Monday, November 1, 2010. Conversation: Just a Bit. Jackie: I like how this veggie recipe calls for bacon. Alex: [opens fridge, his ankle pops] oh. I popped my ankle. James: These chairs are weird. Shellie: Don't insult my mom's chairs. James: If you were wearing the chair, I'd probably make fun of you, too. Shellie: That's not nice. Alex: Well, at least we make fun of people to their face. Jackie: What's a souffle? What's it look like? Here's that recipe. Interesting. 3/4 c corn mean. 4 egg yolks, beaten.
