10代の終わり位にエリック クラプトンの存在を知り、紆余曲折あって暇な時間ができた頃クラプトンの曲やCDを集め始めていて、サンフランシスコべイブルースというカントリー調の曲を聴いたとき、 こんな風にギターで弾き語りができたらどんなに楽しいか と思い立ったものの音楽教室に通うまでの勇気はなく何となく過ごしていたところに、偶然の出会いによってギターを習うチャンスが訪れたのです。 しかし、その後またいろいろな出会いがあり、結婚や出産などのイベントがあったためにギターからは遠ざかる日常が過ぎた頃、テレビでTMNの木登さんが 実はギターが弾けなかった という話をしていたこと夫と一緒に見ているときに、夫の 弾けるんだったら弾いた方がいいよ という言葉をきっかけにまた始めることになりましたが、やはり20代後半を過ぎて覚えてたものというのはなかなか記憶されないせいか、一生懸命覚えたコードの押さえ方も全くどこ絵やらという状態になっていたので、とりあえず3歳の息子が大きくなってギターを弾きたいというようになったら少しは教えられるくらいになるまで頑張ろうと思い、再度練習に明け暮れている日々です。
