Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Monday, May 25, 2015. Children's Museum at the Armoury. In the Seattle Center. Never had a reason to visit before, but the place is huge. K and I spent a couple hours there while filmmaker mommy did the SIFF events (talent scouting for the project she is working pre-production on). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: September 2014
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Saturday, September 6, 2014. Well, okay, not so much traveling again, as really just experimenting with posting on the blog again. Let's see what happens. Dreams and Dragons: The Cursed-Disco-Ball-McGuffin Adventure! I love computers; they are literally completely brain dead. For example, I just posted a comment to Dreams and Dragons: The Cursed-Disco-Ball-McGuffin Adventure! And the entire text of my remark was "A fun read :)". Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Sunday, January 29, 2012. Pioneer Bakery, Puyallup, Washington. 65279;I like to support "Mom and Pop" businesses. You find a lot of creativity and passion there, because the business is a labor of love instead of a retirement plan. Recently, I dropped in at The Pioneer Bakery. Location: Puyallup, WA, USA. Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Monday, May 25, 2015. Folklife Festival at Seattle Center. Holy crap, it's crazy here today, despite the weather. Awesome events, booths everywhere, kiddo loved the live music. There was some kind of odd India-club dance event going on at the Armoury, and kiddo totally loved the music, and even wanted to get out on the dance floor to rock out to it. Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: June 2011
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Thursday, June 23, 2011. It's the eyeballs, stupid. 119 degrees Fahrenheit. Why do people voluntarily live in these conditions? Now, the title of this post - they say it's a "dry heat". What that means at 119 degrees Fahrenheit is "your eyeballs dry out the instant the heat hits you." At least, my eyeballs do, so that's my story and I'm sticking to it. Phoenix Airport, Phoenix, Arizona. Phoenix Airport, Phoenix, Arizona, 8 AM, June 23, 2011. Off to the plane!

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: May 2011
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Friday, May 13, 2011. It's been a good week. I haven't had many chances to post this week, and when I had time, the stupid blogspot was under maintenance or some other issue. This week I've done the tour of the Capital Building, sat in the House Gallery, and the Senate Gallery (since I was in the building). I've been out on the Mall, and the Smithsonian Air and Space museum. Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Tour the Capital Building. Sit in the House Gallery. We walke...

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: March 2012
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Thursday, March 29, 2012. Farm Country. in Fife? I have a long commute to and from work. There isn't much that can be done to shorten it, due to distance, until we perfect teleportation. So, I make it more bearable by finding alternate routes, generally more scenic and with fewer traffic lights. So, finally this week I decided to surrender to my curiosity and I went straight through the intersection. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Amazon Contextual Product Ads.

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: July 2015
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Saturday, July 4, 2015. JBLM Freedom Fair 2015. They put on a good show here, at JBLM, and it's cool they open it to the public like this. Sure, it's a fair, complete with a thousand ways to spend money, but it feels different being on a live military base. The kiddo is loving the bounce houses, and this year she's really into face-painting. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Amazon Contextual Product Ads. JBLM Freedom Fair 2015. View my complete profile.

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Saturday, July 23, 2011. Celebrity Alert: Kate Connor and Andy Hirsch. I like film festivals. There is a huge energy, and a lot of enthusiasm from everyone. We've made new friends (always do), and run into an old one (Neil from CATAPLEXY). Met Kate Connor. Yesterday. Both actors with long and distinguished careers. Lovely people, too. Very grounded and plain nice. And yes, they are as attractive in person as they appear on the screen. Thursday, July 21, 2011.

Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer: August 2015
http://patricrogers.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html
Confessions of a Part-time Itinerant Wanderer. Sunday, August 2, 2015. Wild Waves amusement park, Federal Way, Washington. Very nice park. Obviously the signature attraction is the wave pool and water slides, but they have plenty of dry rides for kids not yet into getting soaked. Warning: LOTS of hills. The park is built on and around and over uneven terrain. Great if you want to get some hiking exercise, but rough if you have bad knees. Saturday, August 1, 2015. I admit, everything is more fun with a kid.
