It's designed after the menu in the anime "Sword Art Online", where people are trapped in a VR MMORPG. The cool part about this is that it uses the Leap Motion to detect your hands and can therefore use the gesture to open the menu (two finger down swipe), just like in the anime. If you could actually print those motors it would be one more big step toward self-replicating hardware. Now obviously [Chris Hawkins’] working 3d printed stepper motor. Wasn’t built 100% through 3D printing, but the majority of the parts were. All that he had to add was the electronic driver pieces, magnets, wire, and a few nails. Posted in 3d Printer hacks.
