It’s taking ages, but I’ve completed some sections. I’ve done the seat, the front of the headrest and one of the arms. This entry was posted on June 11, 2012, in Pyrography. I do pyrography in my spare time. Basically, I burn scenes or portraits into wood – tables, chairs, guitars, etc. I burnt Willie Nelson onto a guitar for a friend and it was a little time-consuming. Making hair look like hair is not an easy task, but the beard was worse: it took hours just to make it look like he had some stubble going on! Once the main burn was completed, I coloured it with oil pastels to bring out the white in his hair and beard.
