I recently started teaching for Fort Worth’s own barre studio (learn more here! And I’m having so much fun getting into the more fitness side of movement teaching and practice. And like anything, I learned a ton of lessons from it:. You can change your body. You can change your mind. Pursuit of excellence, not perfection. When possible, work with people you really like.

8230;because we have a lot to talk about. Skip to primary content. October 1, 2014. A newsy update on my blog today, because it’s my blog. I’m continuing to post just 3 times a week. Because busy. But hey, what’s new? I sometimes wonder why I still post, and to be honest with you it’s practice. Because writing, blogging, and social media is a muscle, and it’s a muscle I want to get paid for so I better use it, or lose it! But here’s what I’m doing besides blogging:. In Waco at the 254 Dance Festival.

8230;because we have a lot to talk about. Skip to primary content. 7 Internet things that made me happy yesterday. October 8, 2014. Hello my internet friends, and also my friends who care to read what I write on the internet. I planned to write about my TV Fast today, but then I never went through with the TV Fast (another post, another time) so I really can’t write about it now can I. And then it occurred to me. The internet made me really happy today. er, yesterday. And then make it onto Billboard.

8230;because we have a lot to talk about. Skip to primary content. Why I no longer get offended. October 13, 2014. Anyway, I mentioned my discomfort to my friend on our drive home, and then my friend mentioned something about being offended. Not that she had been offended by the performance but that one of the dances had the potential to offend. And that’s when I realized I don’t get offended any more. Ok, maybe a little bit on the last one. I had and have a lot of privilege. I’m not generally target...

Lauren & Phil

http://laurenandphil.blogspot.com/2009/10/our-last-stop-of-day-was-trafalgar.html

Tuesday, October 06, 2009. Our last stop of the day was Trafalgar Falls, which is a breathtaking double waterfall. We enjoyed the hike to get there and Phil and Karthik climbed further up the rocks to get closer to the falls. It was an absolutely spectacular sight. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Lauren & Phil: Baby ____'s Nursery... A Work in Progress

http://laurenandphil.blogspot.com/2011/02/baby-s-nursery-work-in-progress.html

Saturday, February 12, 2011. Baby 's Nursery. A Work in Progress. With a lull in home projects upon us, we of course decided to create a project for ourselves, and getting the nursery ready was the perfect one! We started out with an empty room with all the walls painted chocolate brown, and white trim and shutters. AND finishing up the lighting meant we could put together the crib and make the bed, to make the room really look like a nursery! Suggestions are welcome. :). February 23, 2011 6:13 AM. Im on...

Lauren & Phil: We're Ready!

http://laurenandphil.blogspot.com/2011/04/were-ready.html

Thursday, April 07, 2011. This pregnancy has been great. It has been fun, exciting, eye-opening, a learning experience, a bonding experience, and also tiring, scary, emotional, and stressful. Nine months (or ten actually! Have gone by with something new each day - the way the baby moves, maybe, or a new piece of advice from a friend or coworker - and we are now so ready for little Preston to arrive. We have another appointment with the doctor tomorrow to see if anything has changed in the past week.

Lauren & Phil: November 2011

http://laurenandphil.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. For as long as I can remember, I have loved Samoas. Yes, the Girl Scout cookies that are so good that 'you always want samoa'. Get it? That was the witty sales pitch I admit to using more than once as a young girl in green trying to sell cookies. Samoas have always been my favorite of the GS cookies. One year for Valentine's Day my husband even bought me 2 cases of these cookies because of how much I love them! Except he quickly learned that I could never eat that many cookies!

Tuesday, December 01, 2009. I Need to Buy a Chef Hat. After seeing the movie Julie and Julia. A few weeks ago, I have been inspired to start cooking more frequently. We purchased a crock pot the week before I saw the movie, so that was a baby step in the right direction for me. First we made a Pot Roast which turned out to be very tender and delicious, and so very easy to prepare! 1 sm can green chilies. 1 can whole black beans. Juice of 3 sm limes. 1 sm can tomato sauce. Chili powder to taste. Dump all ...

Sunday, December 26, 2010. 2010: Year in Review - BRYN MAWR HOME SALE. We also purchased an exterior patio furniture set including a table, chairs, umbrella, and outdoor rug to be placed on our back deck until the home sold and we picked one that we would like to keep so that we could bring it to our new home when we moved all our furniture back (good trick, eh?
