My life in photos. Most Recent on Flickr. Saturday, March 08, 2008. New direction for this blog. After over a year of neglecting this space, I decided to pay it some attention. I've made a few updates and will be working on it some more in the coming weeks. My intention for this blog is to be informational, both to me and my readers. It is not meant to be an instructional blog. I am far from professional, and I know I have a lot to learn. I am not pretending to be some photography expert.

My life in photos. Most Recent on Flickr. Sunday, March 01, 2009. I should have kept better records. I've been planning to register as an LLC with the state for a while now. I spoke with my friend, who does our taxes, about the benefits of doing so. She told me I can claim equipment for the business that I purchased prior to registering, if I have the receipts. With each shoot, my confidence and organization improves. I am fine tuning the details of my portrait sessions to get better results, and require less time post-processing and preparing proofs. I am extremely touched that my friends are going out of their way to recommend me and my work to people they know just to get me business. I am blessed to have new client opportunities coming to me. I just don't know if I am ready for it all. With that said, is getting the practice worth the stress of overloading myself with appointments right before the holidays? Maybe if I could freeze time. It might be smart to make two so parents have the choice between "girly" or "boyish" colors. I like the top and bottom middle colors.
