A pride of lions. Friday, November 27, 2009. Two weeks ago in Beaver Stadium we said goodbye to our seniors including our favorite player and last weekend we watched him help his team win the last regular season game against Michigan State. These kinds of events always cause a bit of sadness, but they also give rise to a new hope for the future (one I’m sure the “82 Crew” will be looking forward to.). A pride of lions. Friday, January 29, 2010. Capital One "Mud Bowl". It has been almost a month since Penn State beat LSU in the Capital One Mud Bowl and I am finally going to finish my PSU blog! We had a great time in spite of the chilly temps and pouring rain the day of the game. We arrived in Orlando on Dec.23rd and got to enjoy Christmas day with our family and friends from Fort Bellefonte. We stayed at the Mouse Mountain Campground and had a wonderful Christmas dinner! The family at Christmas dinner.

A pride of lions. Friday, October 30, 2009. Things To Do After Beating Michigan! Victory was sweet and so was our next few days in Michigan. We stayed in Ypsilanti until Wednesday and had a wonderful time visiting botanical gardens, a winery, and a museum that housed the first automobile called the quadricycle built by Henry Ford. After Ford built it in this tiny shed, he realized he couldn't get it out without breaking through the brick wall, so he did! A beautiful century plant grew in the desert house.

A pride of lions. Tuesday, May 25, 2010. NFL Draft Day 2010. It has been a month since the long anticipated 2010 NFL draft took place. For the Shuler family and the “82 crew”, the suspense of what team in the NFL would chose Mickey ended when he was chosen with the 7th pick, of the 7th round, the 214th pick overall by the Minnesota Vikings. But at 3:34 pm on Saturday April 24, 2010, our house phone rang, and the caller ID said Minnesota Vikings! At first it was fun watching the picks in the earlier round...
