I'm getting caught up on my Blog posts and this is an old update but I wanted to show the progress my healing is making. My left leg is noticeably skinnier and not very strong. I'm doing physical therapy once a week and am looking forward to when I can walk again. I can only imagine the gruesomeness of having to wear a cast for the entire healing period. Enjoying every ray of light each day brings. Wednesday, August 27, 2014. First time at the new pool May 13, 2014. One of the most amazing things to me it to be able to go swimming when ever I want. We've been blessed to have a pool at our new and old apartments. So I was pretty bummed when I broke my leg that I couldn't go swimming for a while. As soon as I got the Doctor's OK I was down at our "new" pool. Off with my stinky brace. Hoku seemed excited for mommy to come in the pool this time with her.

Enjoying every ray of light each day brings. Saturday, January 3, 2015. August 30, 2014 More cousin time. Auntie Corrina was selling her handmade Hawaiian jewelry. In Waikiki so we dropped in to see her. We ended up bringing cousins Kingston and Tatiana home with us so they could play while Auntie and Uncle Joey were busy. We ate breakfast at Wailana Coffee House. Then came home for a quick swim. Kingston showed Hoku how to stack boxes. Hoku showed him how to knock them down. September 1, 2014- Labor Day.

Enjoying every ray of light each day brings. Saturday, January 3, 2015. September 1, 2014- Labor Day. We spent Labor day at the beach with Cousins, Auntie Chas and Uncle Kai. My ankle and leg are getting much stronger and I am so glad I can play in the water with Hoku again. I'm glad Hoku is so forgiving of my dunking her in the water. Hoku should be a poster child for Soda and Hawaiian juices. She loves them so much. She also loves to sit in big girl chairs when ever she can. September 1, 2014- Labor Day.

Enjoying every ray of light each day brings. Sunday, June 22, 2014. Spoils of my pity party. Since breaking my leg in March I have had an out pouring of love from all around. I sure appreciate everyone thinking of me. It make me feel so special. My little niece Chenoa sent me this surprise in the mail. I love it! A dear friend in Utah, Sally Wright surprised me with these fun items in a special care package. The leg cover for the shower has been a huge lifesaver from having to use trash bags and tape.
