South Orange and Maplewood Middle Schools win Audio Book Grant. Thanks to the amazing generosity of the Achieve Foundation (which is a privately funded foundation that gives money to the South Orange and Maplewood public schools through teacher grants) both middle schools will now have audio books to supplement the new English curriculum that was recently put in place. A 7th Graders Journey Through the Library. One of my 7th grades has made it her goal to read every book in the library by the time she graduates. So far this year she has gotten through all of the Graphic Novels. Next up the Fiction! When I found out about this I decided that she should write about her journey through the library. Periodically in this blog she will write reviews about the books she is reading and other adventures that occur on this journey to read all of the books in the SOMS library.

En blogg om sytt och sömmat, stickat och sumpat. Enligt devisen "fort och fel" kan man skapa det mesta på ingen tid alls. Det enda man inte får missa är sömsmånen - en dyrköpt erfarenhet. Onsdag 8 februari 2012. Jag kan knappt fatta det men jag har en entrelac-stickning på gång! Inte långt från trädet. Men det var svårt att fånga det! Börjar bli klar. Visar en liten liten bit bara. Måndag 23 januari 2012. En dryg decimeter fyrfläta och jag är helsåld - och känner mig som en ny och ävertyrlig kvinna!
