Trek to Pindari glacier – I. July 4, 2011. I recently went for a trek to the Pindari glacier. The trek in itself lasted for eight days, and offered some awesome scenic views, especially towards the later half of the trek. We stayed in KMVN huts at various spots along the way. Our itinerary was as follows –. Day 1 – Drive from Bageshwar to Loharkhet. Trek 9 kms from Loharkhet to Dhakuri. Day 2 – Trek 7 kms from Dhakuri to a village called Khati. Abstracts at the Lotus Temple. January 3, 2013. Today I went to the Lotus Temple. For a short while. A Bahai. House of Worship, it is a beautiful structure made of marble, and open to all religions. Shaped like a lotus (and hence the name), it is a nice place for a quiet little evening. Given its shape, the Lotus Temple is a great place to shoot some abstracts. September 4, 2012. A few days back I tried to take photographs of a little baby girl I have come to know over the last few months. Very cute, and an exceptionally happy child, I thought it would be a piece of cake. Of course, it wasn’t. And overall Tip No. 3 – have a lot of patience. I guess that goes without saying, given that we are combining photography and babies😀. Here are some of my more successful attempts at an otherwise fairly hopeless endeavor🙂 –.
