Sunday, August 27, 2006. I am finally going public. I haven't let a lot of people know I am a blogger, because I am still figuring this out. But I have just invited a few more people into my thoughts. I hope I don't scare them off. If you are new to "Smileyfish" please feel free to comment on any of the entries if you find them interesting. I get so excited to see that someone is reading my rambles! Posted by Angie at 2:43 PM. Wednesday, November 29, 2006. Happy Birthday, Miles. Posted by Angie at 7:54 PM. Tuesday, November 28, 2006. Both the kids got haircuts today. I wish I had my camera to take a picture of Miles in the chair with the drape on him. He looked like his head was sitting on top of a volcano! He did pretty well and was intrigued at first. Towards the end he got a little restless. Emory was in heaven! She sat perfectly still and was taking notes! Posted by Angie at 7:06 PM. Monday, November 27, 2006. I don't know...

http://smileyfish.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 31, 2006. If you can't tell from the picture, Emory is a bee, and Miles is a giraffe. I am going to go pick out all my favorites out of their candy before they get home! Posted by Angie at 6:24 PM. Monday, October 30, 2006. Papa John, Lulu, Annie, Papa and the kids and I went to Clif's last football game of the season. The kids have been to almost every game this season, which is not an easy task! Somehow I don't think I would have looked as cute. Posted by Angie at 8:41 PM. All of your ...

smileyfish: January 2007
http://smileyfish.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 30, 2007. I pulled out some memories of the summer to help beat the chill. I don't think the temperature outside is supposed to rise above 20 degrees for the next 10 days or so. So, I thought it would be nice to reminisce about the days of sunshine and warmth. However, I also remember being incredibly miserable on these days because of the extreme heat. I'll take the cold any day! Posted by Angie at 6:59 PM. Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Somebody has a stinks diaper,. Miles and I went outsi...

Friday, September 29, 2006. I am sure that in parenting, your words come back to haunt you quite often. I just had one of these experiences. Tonight, I had asked Emory to clean up her room by putting her clothes in the hamper. She was overwhelmed by the small task ahead of her, and so she said, "Mom, you need to help. Jesus wants you to help". Posted by Angie at 7:06 PM. Monday, September 25, 2006. Anyway, try it! Look out Jack, if you keep pooping in my bedroom, you're next! Posted by Angie at 8:24 PM.

smileyfish: February 2007
http://smileyfish.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 26, 2007. We enjoyed getting to hear about their family and we were glad we could share ours with them. I hope some day Clif and I can look back over a 60 year marriage and have as much to show as the Kennedys do. The next time Emory and Miles are driving me nuts, I'll remind myself how much joy they brought Don and Audrey on Saturday. I hope we can get together again soon! Posted by Angie at 8:12 AM. Wednesday, February 21, 2007. I have built an altar where I worship things of men.

Monday, April 23, 2007. Posted by Angie at 7:24 PM. Tuesday, April 17, 2007. So, it's not so much a garden, but this is as close as we get here on our street. Miles' idea on gardening is sticking his arm in the watering can, and Emory likes to pick me "flowers" in the grass. Our gardening was put on hold by some freakish April snow. Emory woke up Saturday morning and went to the window and exclaimed, "It's a miracle, all this beautiful snow! Posted by Angie at 7:02 PM. Tuesday, April 10, 2007. These pict...

Thursday, December 21, 2006. Let's just hope their hearing wasn't too good. Posted by Angie at 6:53 PM. Sunday, December 17, 2006. Ok, so this is not an official blog today because I stole it from Mikki. I just wanted to give more people the chance to read it because it made me laugh so hard. You might just have to know Elijah. Hope you don't mind, Mik! Ripped off from sonorliteman.blogspot.com. Posted by Angie at 1:08 PM. Wednesday, December 13, 2006. Posted by Angie at 7:45 PM. Monday, December 11, 2006.

Thursday, May 31, 2007. Our Day in Chicago. We even got our picture taken a few time without the kids. We haven't taken a picture of just the two of us since the summer in Europe before Emory was born. It was good to be reminded of "Clif and Ang", because we are going to have to get to know each other in 17 more years when the kids are gone! Posted by Angie at 8:41 PM. Monday, May 28, 2007.
