In addition to providing tuition scholarships to students in environmental disciplines, the Foundation also provides financial support to local environmental organizations, focusing on education, conservation/clean-up activities, and community outreach. We put one coat of primer on the oar before we paint. The reason primer is used is it seals the wood, and it helps the paint stick. We are screwing together the stand for the stem support bracket. Friday, October 4, 2013. We routed the inside of the stem with a round over bit. It's levelled, so we are fastening it down!

Back to Work, BOSSES in ACTION. We put epoxy on the inwales. After we spread the glue, we began to clamp the blocks for the inwales onto the skiff. Now we're scraping up the excess glue that squeezed out from the clamping. Next, we used a jointer plane to even out the inwales with the planks of the skiff.
